Twin sisters, Dana and Marni Haber are the principal event coordinators of Haber Event Group. Together with trusted photographers, florists, graphic artists, caterers, and assistants, they create impeccably coordinated weddings, bar mitzvahs, fundraising events, and corporate events.
Dana Haber and Marni Haber first started working in the special events industry at the age of 15 when they accepted their first jobs working in the coat room and as waitresses during bar mitzvah & wedding receptions at Temple Ramat Zion of Northridge, CA.
Dana Haber
After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara with an undergraduate degree in business economics, Dana Haber worked for many years in the hotel industry for Hilton Hotels Corporation. In 2003 she moved on to her first job as an event planner with a non-profit organization. Because of this experience, she has worked on a wide variety of events and has a thorough understanding of how to best negotiate with vendors. While working in the non-profit arena, she coordinated successful fundraising walks, auctions, fashion shows, wine tasting events, and golf tournaments. Afterwards, Dana ventured into the for-profit sector expanding her experience planning corporate events, weddings, bar mitzvahs, holiday parties, and birthday parties. Dana’s clients are consistently astonished by her innovative ideas, high standards, and talent for remaining calm under pressure. She is always looking to learn new things, explore new places, and meet new people. Dana resides in sunny Los Angeles, CA where she grew up and in her spare time she enjoys bike riding at the beach, designing jewelry, and gardening.
Marni Haber
Marni graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with an undergraduate degree in Law and Society. After school, she began her career in the special event industry at private country clubs in Los Angeles, CA. At that time she planned high-end member events such as weddings, bar mitzvahs, New Years Eve parties, Fourth of July fireworks extravaganzas, and other more intimate social events. Marni then ventured into the non-profit sector planning art dedications, capital campaign celebrations, gala dinners, auctions, wine tastings, and award ceremonies. In January of 2006, Marni moved to Colorado where she now enjoys an adventurous life in the Rocky Mountains. When she is not working, some of her favorite activities include dirt bike riding, snowboarding, and river rafting.
