· Greet and supervise vendors
· Oversee set-up of ceremony and reception areas
· Verify the proper set-up of tables
· Assistance with the distribution and pinning of all corsages, boutonnieres, and flower-girl flowers
· Set-up of place cards on registration table
· Distribution of wedding favors, programs, photographs, and all other items that will be displayed/distributed
· Greet and direct your guests to the ceremony and reception areas
· Line up, coach and cue the wedding party on their duties and when it is time to walk down the aisle
· Ensure your dress and train are perfect as you head down the isle with your escort
· Cue musicians, ensure they are comfortable with the timeline and have the correct musical selections
· Assist the Photographer in gathering your wedding party and family members as needed
· Ensure that you, your groom and wedding party get cocktails and
hors d’ oeuvres served to you during your photography session if desired
· Verify that your selected entertainment has proper electricity, staging, parking validations & vendor meals
· Ensure the reception area décor is as you wished before allowing guests to enter
· Assist your Maid of Honor in the bustling of your wedding dress
· Prepare the MC and wedding party for the grand entrance
· See to it that you and your family’s every need is catered to
· Supervise and communicate with the chef, banquet captain and catering staff to ensure excellent and timely dinner service
· Prep and cue everyone scheduled to give toasts
· Ensure we have comfortable shoes ready for you to change into at the reception if you desire and your make up available to touch up if needed throughout the day
· Handle any emergencies or unexpected occurrences
· Keep the wedding day running on schedule
· Provide on-site emergency kit
· Distribute final balances and gratuities to vendors on your behalf
· Secure all gifts and personal items with the caretaker of your choice
· Collect your guest book, pen, toasting glasses, cake top, etc &
bring everything to your honeymoon suite, designated room or designated car
· Coordinate with getaway transportation, make sure that they are present and on time
